BRETT A. HARRINGTON, CMI, is the President of International Appraisal Company in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Prior to his role as President Brett was responsible for managing IAC’s Midwest Regional office in Chicago, IL, IAC’s West Regional office in Los Angeles, CA and IAC’s South Regional Office in Atlanta, GA. He has been with IAC since 1994, specializing in property tax valuation, administration and consulting. Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut. Brett has participated in numerous programs and has served on various committees for the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, including being Vice Chair of the Property Tax Symposium Committee in 2005, the Chair of the 2006 Property Tax Symposium Committee, the Property Tax Chair of the 2007 & 2010 Annual Conferences, facilitator for the 2008 Advanced Property Tax Academy and is currently an instructor for the Real Property Tax School. He has appeared and testified as an expert before numerous local and state appeal boards throughout the country.
